AB	accumulated baseline
accumulated baseline	average % success rate of 3 sessions within a single set
baseline criteria	criteria considered for a successful test The BC for this project is: 3 successive trials of 90%+ conducted on 2 subsequent sets
BCM	baseline criteria met
canister	generic term for receptacle containing sample
child	second-generation sample created via hydration from an original parent sample
container	receptacle for holding scent
contamination test	testing for residual scent on an empty device
distraction	object placed within a container that has scent different from the SS (kibble, spice, herb, etc)
double blind	a testing procedure designed to eliminate biased results, in which the identity of those receiving a test treatment is concealed from both administrators and subjects until after the study is completed
DS	Donor Sample (test)
dummy	scent container identical to sample except for the scent
FP	false positive
false positive	dog indicates container that does not hold desired scent sample
MCM	modified criteria met
MDS	Multi Donor Sample (test)
